The Logo

The Logo of the Indian Association for Geriatric Mental Health (IAGMH) has been made to reflect the concept. The grey colored hexagon visualizes the concept that we are dealing with those who have started greying and the population over 60 will be a matter of great concern for the country. The "SUN" inside this hexagon signifies that the Association will do its best to bring brightness into the lives of our own elderly population. The thin line just below reflects falling status of elderlies, the thick line bellow assures that the support from the Association will rejuvenate them back to their best.

The big "g" highlights geriatric and the shape symbolizes spectacles. The orange color in " i " , " a ", and " m ", " h " before and after big "g" ensures that as life was happy in young age, it will be so in old age as well.
